The Tweekoo by Jim Nico CEO/Founder of The Social Network Show and The Social Network Association
I like the way of a poem sound
like a feather in flight when it slams to the ground.
And now the Tweekoo right here for you
A labor of love on labor day too.
So what is a Tweekoo and why is it here instead of my usual prose so clear? It is a poem short as tweet, with hints of the haiku, and cinquain replete.
So while at labor on this labor day I figured my rhyming was haunting my way. So rather than whine, and wimp, and repose I opted poetic and tossed out the prose.
So next time you read me at least when I’m light I may ride a Tweekoo right into flight. And if I get serious along the way, the Tweekoo can leave, so prose will take sway.
Even though I can turn a neat tweet, sometimes my work does not seem complete. I literally have such a penchant for rhyme–rhyme can literally take all my time. So how to reach a compromise state with prose not boring, rhyme not late? The Tweekoo, to whit, appeared in a snap dressed for a cause and wearing a cap. A Tweekoo jumped up, and got in my way, just in time to push me to play. And now it happens again and again one jumps another right out of my pen. Now I can tweet with a flair for my verse and toss out a Tweekoo in writing more terse. And enemy boredom down in defeat will bow to my Tweekoo and take a back seat. And since I am having more fun per word my work and my play don’t seem absurd. So I toss you a Tweekoo and hope you write one, they are quick and quite timely, and fun on the run. Please make your Tweekoo short as a tweet so we can send it on Twitter and even repeat. And if you still like what I say in this way–watch for a surprise about Tweekoos someday.
