Dr. Joe Ulatowski and Nina Burleigh are the upcoming guests on The Social Network Show.
This is Dr. Ulatowski’s second visit to the show. He is a visiting assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Texas at El Paso and Deputy Editor of the Polish Journal of Philosophy. Dr. Ulatowski researches the nature of self and deception among the members of social networks and will be discussing this in the upcoming show.

We also welcome Nina Burleigh, an award-winning investigative journalist and author of five books. Ms. Burleigh writes on a variety of topics in her column for The New York Observer. She has written for Rolling Stone, Businessweek, The New Yorker, Time, New York and The New York Times and has appeared on many television show such as Good Morning America and Nightline. Ms. Burleigh is an adjunct professor at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. Her book titled, Mirage: Napoleon’s Scientists and the Unveiling of Egypt, was chosen by The New York Times as an editors’ choice and won the Society of Women Educators’ Award in 2008.
Last month, September, 2013, Ms. Burleigh wrote an article for the Rolling Stone, “Sexting, shame and suicide: A shocking tale of sexual assault in the Digital Age” which will be discussed on the show.
